Did you know that the catfish is the animal with the most  taste buds? It has more than 27,000 of them.  Catfish are bottom feeding fish, so I suppose there is no accounting for taste 🙂

Catfish is the most popular farmed fish in the United States, with supplies more than double all the other farmed fish produced. It is estimated that yearly consumption is at 1 pound of fish per year in the States.
